The Search Is On For Two Suspects In Deltona Gas Station Robbery

Deltona, FL – The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is working to identify two male suspects who robbed the Racetrac at 407 Deltona Blvd. early this morning.

Deputies responded around 1:10 a.m. and spoke with witnesses who said two suspects robbed the store, one armed with a handgun. An employee said one of the suspects pointed the gun at her head, demanding all the money in the register. She told officers that she was struck in the back of the head with the gun, but did not sustain any injuries.

A customer in the store was coming out of the restroom as the robbery was happening and a suspect pointed a gun at him, telling him to lay down. There were another customer and another employee in the store at the time of the robbery.

One suspect is a heavy-set black male wearing a red tank top, gray pants and a mask. He arrived driving a black Cadillac Escalade (Florida tag EEPI07) that was reported stolen in an armed carjacking in Leesburg. The second suspect is a thin black male wearing a gray tracksuit and a mask. He arrived at the store in the passenger side of a red Hyundai Elantra (Florida tag KQQN91) that was reported stolen in an armed carjacking in Orange County.
