Daytona Beach, FL – The former Daytona Beach Police Officer charged with child pornography possession has been ordered by a judge to temporarily surrender his weapons. Brandon Fox was fired and arrested by his former employer in April after investigators discovered he was sharing child pornography depicting children as young as 10 on social media. His initial arrest saw him charged with seven counts of possession, which landed him in jail with a $70,000 bond—one he soon posted. He pleaded not guilty just a day after his arrest. Court records show Fox was back in court on Wednesday (May 4) and has entered a second not guilty plea for his additional charges. He’s currently represented by Daytona Beach Attorney Aaron Delgado. The record also shows that a motion to suppress and a motion for dismissal were also filed on Wednesday. Fox was also ordered by a judge to temporarily surrender his weapons for the next six months. Additionally, he will have to go under a mental health evaluation. Fox isn’t due back in court until May 17 for his arraignment.
