Two people were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly shooting at an occupied vehicle in Deltona, the Volusia Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday. 29-year-old Ines Jonjic and 15-year-oild Elijah Woodberry are both named in the shooting which fortunately did not lead to any injuries. Deputies were called to Hemingway Drive in Deltona at around 11:50 p.m. Tuesday night. The victim told the VSO that she was there to confront a woman whom she’d been arguing with over Facebook. Once she reached the residence, the woman said she saw two people in the driveway with guns. The victim and the shooters did not speak to each other, the VSO says. After seeing the two individuals in the driveway, the woman reportedly saw both of them raise their arm and fire shots at her car. She’s said to have heard the shots and seen the flashes from the guns. The rear window of the car was shattered in the shooting, and the front passenger-side tire was punctured. Deputies arrived at the residence where the shooting occurred late Tuesday night. Public address announcements were given for hours before Jonjic and Woodberry exited, along with Jonjic’s children. Woodberry is the kids’ babysitter according to the VSO. Jonjic reportedly admitted to deputies that she fired at the vehicle. Woodberry did not. As they investigated the scene, deputies found two types of shell casings in the garage as well as Jonjic’s gun in her bedroom. In the search, bags of marijuara, pills, and cocaine were also found in the residence according to the VSO. Ines Jonjic was booked into the Volusia County Branch Jail Wednesday morning without bond. She’s been charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a park, possession of Schedule II and Schedule IV controlled substances, two counts of possession of a new/legend drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Elijah Woodberry was charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, cocaine trafficking, and violation of probation.
