DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona International Speedway announced its pre-race entertainment on Monday for the upcoming Daytona 500: Dierks Bentley will trek to the world’s most famous beach to prime the crowd before the race. The country music superstar has sold over five million albums in his career. Bentley will have big shoes to fill: Luke Combs tore down the house with his pre-race show in 2022, setting the stage for a thrilling race. The speedway usually goes with country music performers for its annual concert before the Daytona 500. “I’m ready to get back to Daytona with all the biggest NASCAR fans,” Bentley said of the upcoming show. “The energy there is unmatched and I know we will have a blast getting them ready for the race.” Track president Frank Kelleher concurred with Bentley’s enthusiasm: “We’re honored to welcome Dierks back to the World Center of Racing,” he said. “Having an entertainer who knows how to start a party, preforming at the 65th DAYTONA 500 and kicking off NASCAR’s 75th anniversary season, is a combination fit for a fantastic Sunday.” Fans with grandstand tickets will be able to view Bentley’s performance, but those with passes to the UNOH Fanzone will have the closest view of the show in the house.
