A 15-year-old boy was stabbed in a fight that happened in Deltona on Wednesday, the Volusia Sheriff’s Office announced. He is fortunately expected to be alright, and no other parties have been reported injured. According to the VSO’s description of the incident, things kicked off in the three o’clock hour around Courtland Boulevard and Hanford Drive in Deltona. It was believed that at least one of the multiple perpetrators knew the victim, and that they had jumped him to execute a grudge from an existing dispute. A deputy heard a 911 call being placed at 3:39 pm via Live 911, and responded to the scene. The VSO stated he made it to the location of the stabbing in two minutes. Upon arriving, the deputy is said to have administered bandages to the teenager to help with the bleeding. As of Wednesday evening, individuals with proximity to the incident were being interviewed by deputies about what they knew. A positive identification on the suspects is pending. No other information has yet been made available by the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.
